I've been disabled since December 2024, but my cancer was not covered until recently. I applied for SSI in march and was accepted today. I'm under 24 (20) so the way I understand it I only need 6 work credits to be eligible work wise, but I only worked seasonally and on call prior to my disability so while I cumulatively earned over enough for 6 credits but each year I was under a full 2 credits. I plan on asking about it during my follow up call in a few days but was curious if anyone had more insight or if it's cut and clear I wouldn't possibly be eligible.

Thanks in advance, I know these processes can be tricky and I'm very new to this. Even if the answer is a resounding no any advice would be appreciated.
