Hi guys, I am in second year in an automation bachelor from Belgium so next year I will be an automation technician. I am currently wondering if it's worth to do an extra 3 years to become an Industrial Engineer. I think that I can apply to the jobs that requires what we call a "master" so the engineer title and diploma by having these 3 years of terrain experience but I am not really sure what do you think ? And also for the salaries I would normally earn more by being an engineer but automation technicians are so rare that they can sometimes have a higher salary from what I heard. What are your experiences in Europe and US ? Thank you for your responses !
