Why were important people in the ‘40s like Hitler and FRD rarely photographed with color film?
Like, you have all this money, huge propaganda budgets for better or worse, yet most everything is colorized from black and white film. I get b&w is the way the go for newspaper and periodical reproduction. But why was there a seeming lack of hype for color photography in the ‘40s? Slide film or otherwise.
