So I just got home from a date with my wife where we saw The Devil Wears Prada and dinner at a local restaurant. I am still feeling quite self-conscious going out but I am more confident when my wife is with me, hence why I wore this top that I have never worn out in public before. Anyway, when the hostess sat us she said: “you go ladies, I hope you like this booth.” I did not say anything obviously, but when she left I did ask my wife — did I hear that correctly? Did she say “ladies?” My wife confirmed that she did.
Living in one of the red Midwest states makes me a bit anxious. My wife says though that I am just feeling what every woman feels when they go out — that feeling of being judged and that people are staring at your body. So yeah, I am not sure what to think right now. Oh and I am 45 and just started month 3 of HRT, in case anyone is counting. 🙈
