Advice on travel & moving

I’m looking for advice on how to handle sleep with two consecutive big events: moving end of June and driving to see my husband’s family in NY after 4th of July weekend (we plan to stay for 10ish days.) When we are in NY I plan to use a pack and play and slumberpod for sleep - with his regular associations and sound machine. What I’m wondering is if yall think it’s better to:

- get into the pack and play/ slumberpod when we move, ride it though the NY trip and get him back in his crib upon our return
OR
- keep him in his crib during the move, pack and ply/slumberpod for trip, and then back in his crib upon our return

Thoughts? I’m thinking the first option bc I don’t want to be stresssed in NY and want him to practice first but wondering and hoping for additional insight.

My 4.5 month old is suddenly refusing naps. We sleep trained him using PLA jiggle the crib swap and he was doing so great falling asleep independently. Now there are days where he wails for 20 mins and I have to go grab him and contact nap - which I hate doing but it feels necessary.

A little over a week ago he connected sleep cycles and elongated his first nap! But he’s only done it about 4 times since. Last week he was doing WW in mins 100/135/135/135/140 so this weekend we tried a starter 3 nap schedule - it went okay but we were busy (lots of car and contact naps.)

All of that to say I’m trying 4 naps today, and trying to extend 10/15 mins past the 2 hour mark as we go through the day. For the life of me I cannot discern between over and under tired. Please help!
