Just got the Pokémon mini series, impressed but any trick to applying the base sticker?

Not my first Blokees model, that credit goes to the fantastic Sentinel Prime, so when I saw they were doing Pokémon (and my kids are Pokémon mad) I knew it was worth getting all the smaller figs.

I have put together a couple and they've been fun to assemble but the stickers are a nightmare!

I'm not stranger to stickers, I've done Bandai model kits in the past which rely heavily on them, as well as an embarrassing amount of Lego, but I cannot get them to go on in a satisfying way. I'm wondering if there is a trick I'm missing, given the instructions are in a different language? Or whether "good enough" will do

Many thanks in advance!

Store bought cheesy garlic bread pizza, weird texture. Advice?!

Hi all

Decided to treat myself to a small cheesy garlic bread pizza from Lidl on the way home to go with some fresh chicken burgers.

I cooked it for the recommended time (9 minutes at 180oC) and it looked great, cheese had melted nicely and the crust was golden brown. When I took a big bite (being the pig I am!) I had to spit it out as it was like a gooey, gummy sort of texture. I banged it back in the oven for a few more minutes at a higher temp and prodded it with my meat thermometer when it came out, which showed it was over 80 degrees.

Despite this, it still had that strange texture. I ate less than half of it and ended up just binning the rest.

Any ideas what could have caused this? And whether I am going to be in for a few rough days?

I appreciate store bought is hardly going to be home made quality, but this was far worse than it had any right to be. It was in date and there were no signs at all of spoilage. Very strange!
