I am leaving from ATH airport tomorrow at noon and I do not have a EU passport.

I have read conflicting reports about how long the EES queues are on departure. Is ATH airport equipped with the electronic gates that speed up the process? Would arriving more than 3 hours before my flight have any benefit?
