For simplicity's sake let's say we've got a 10 ton bull African Elephant going up against a 12 ton T-Rex. I know there are some elephant defenders out there, but I don't think this fight is particularly close without giving the underdog some kind of advantage... Given they are known for their intelligence and their prehensile tusks, Idk the image of an elephant waving a giant sword around kind of cracks me up. In your guesses make sure you also say what weapon you'd choose for the ellie.

All fights take place in an open field.

Rd 1 no prep, but let's say the elephant has a weapon affixed to its trunk and magically won't drop it or hurt itself trying to fling it off

Rd 2 the best elephant trainers in the world have 6 months to train the elephant to use whatever weapon you choose for it in combat

Rd 3 all of humanity invests every resource it can into breeding and training the optimal elephant for weapon use over the course of 100 years (elephants' breeding age is 15-20yrs but they are pregnant for 22 months).

Bonus round: same timeframe and resource investment as rd 3 but instead of an elephant it's 6 gorillas. They do not need to all pick the same weapon.
