Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a project I’ve been working on called BackupArr.

The Idea:

Traditional media backups are expensive and space-consuming. BackupArr was built with a different Idea in mind: instead of duplicating massive video files, it backs up the least amount of data necessary to be able to restore your library. If you ever suffer data loss, you can use this "blueprint" to restore your library state and re-acquire everything from the deep dark's of the Internet.

Key Features:

  • Lightweight: Backs up the "state" of your library rather than the files themselves.
  • Supported Services: Support for Radarr and Sonarr.
  • Simple CLI: Manage backups and restores with straightforward terminal commands.

Project Status: Alpha

Please note that this is in Alpha and is currently a Work in Progress. It’s experimental and not recommended for production use yet, but I’d love to get some feedback from the community as development progresses.
