Since I am autistic as you can see in my bio, I am prone to info-dumping, so I apologize if it looks too much to read for some of y’all. Also, dreams are one of multiple imaginary media and phenomena I like to write in detail.
This morning, I dreamt that I was an Inhuman agent tasked with capturing and interrogating a HYDRA agent in a Walmart store in the midst of a college fundraiser.
To expand it, it started with me working with Daisy and Fitz while we were sweating profusely in S.H.I.E.L.D. suits under the hot summer sun. The rest of the agents were inside the store near the frozen food aisle. Our first objective was to remove an orange cap-like structure off a car’s roof to expose a HYDRA Life Model Decoy’s radar waves. While Fitz was engineering circuit boards and Daisy was hacking into enemy programs and interfaces, I was looking on both sides of the road for cars that could be equipped with communication structures. As each car passed by me, I was close to being hit by one since Fitz and Daisy’s workstation took a lot of room. Despite the narrow and potentially dangerous space, I was fully committed to the task. Several cars later, I finally spotted the one with the orange cap and removed it. I looked into the cap and discovered that it had black inner walls that were blocking radar waves. Almost immediately after the cap removal, Daisy installed malware into the HYDRA LMD’s car engine and communication system, shutting down all of their organization’s vehicles in the process. Now that the task was completed, we entered the store and shifted to our second objective: capturing the unnamed agent near the aforementioned aisle. I stood still while Daisy and Fitz rejoined their team. From far away, I saw the orange cap car’s cyborg driver and discovered that I was an Inhuman. I lifted my hands and moved my fingers to perform a power not seen in the show: arranging and tightening air into pathways and grips strong enough to break and dislocate bones, snap heads and limbs off of targets, and break locks and cuffs. With this new power coming into use, I twisted the android LMD’s head and decapitated it. After the beheading was complete, I saw not just aisles and shoppers, but also crowds of college students participating in a cookie fundraiser. The sight was overwhelming for me, but I returned to my group and finally captured and restrained the HYDRA target with my newly-developed abilities. As I turned my head, I saw that everyone in my agency but me now wore outfits that enabled them to blend in with the college students. That change was done to help cool off and go undercover at the same time.
Anyway, have you dreamt of being in a mission with S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents?
