I was just diagnosed with aTOS after probably 15 years of feeling symptoms unknowingly. It’s complete in my left arm (I.e. no blood flow when arm is raised at side) and also affecting my right (surgeon said).

He wasn’t very patient with me so he didn’t take much time to interact or explain what was happening and just said “are you ready to have surgery yet?”

I was very thrown off because he had JUST told me about aTOS and didn’t give me much more info.

I’ve always read try to go the conservative route with any suggested surgery but for aTOS I’ve read PT can make it a lot worse.

Help. I’m just nervous and I didn’t love how this surgeon approached me about all of this.
