Hysterectomy in early 20s

I’m 17 yrs old and Ive been looking for a solution to deal with my horrible cramps. Just a few months ago I finally got diagnosed with pcos and I’ve been taking medication for it.

I started my periods when I was 11 and had anaemia when I was 12.

my period cramps have just been getting worse over the years. it started with just cramps and then as years went by i also started experiencing thigh and back pain. When I first went to the doctor for this issue they said that I don’t really have any problems and just gave me painkillers. Only a few months ago I got to know that I have cysts in my ovaries.

I’ve been taking medication for it but I was wondering if I could get a hysterectomy because the pain, bloating and fatigue is just too much to deal with. Is a hysterectomy unnecessary for my condition?

would also like to know about people’s experience of having a hysterectomy by choice at an early age, will it cause any hormonal imbalance? what changes should I expect?
