I delivered my twins 4 days ago at 34w4d. Both were around 1.9kg. They were started on formula feed in the hospital in NICU immediately after birth.
I started producing milk within 24 hours but I guess not in enough quantity. It has definitely improved now. Though they were started on formula, I was repeatedly advised to practice breastfeeding as much as possible. I’ve been trying my best to do so specially like feed every two hours and stuff. But my babies do not latch well…they take lots of time and by lots I mean sometimes 1 hour per baby. This led to me remaining very sleep deprived and stressed about baby not feeding.
As advised by someone here before I was planning on tandem feeding but feeding individually itself feels like a task.
I want to breast feed as much as possible and stop formula entirely. At what age did your babies start latching and breast feeling? Please guide. 😭
