Why didn’t the pacers wait until now to trade the pick?
The general consensus on this outcome is that the pacers would rather have Zubac than the pick to win now. However I am seeing a take that on the trade value that the Pacers in retrospect have lost out on value.
Wasn’t the risk unnecessary, and why wouldn’t they just trade the pick once it was confirmed for Zubac anyway and they probably get a better deal or at least the same deal without the risk?
