Finalizing advanced points booking before Hyatt deval, for a family of four (includes a 5 year old and a 2 year old at time of travel). We love pools and beaches. We typically stay on resort with our two kids, and we value convenience/ease. Which should we do:

HZ Cap Cana in early March or GH Baha Mar in mid April 2027? We have a SUA to use and are Globalists.

Cap Cana: AI, 58k per night plus $$ per kid. My impression is that SUAs don’t get you much there (please correct me if I am wrong).

Baha Mar: 35k per night. Can use SUA for Grand King suite.

Flight costs and ease will be similar. Baha Mar certainly cheaper from a points standpoint, but with the upcoming devaluation this might be the cheapest I’ll see HZ Cap Cana. We would save on food/booze at Cap Cana even factoring in kid cash prices.
