A student who cheated in poly got into top UK university ?

Hey everyone, I’m in a huge ethical bind and need some perspective.

I know a student from my poly (blue line) who recently secured an offer to Cambridge university (Atleast that’s what said person has been telling everyone). The issue is, this person has a history of academic dishonesty. I’m talking about cases of cheating that occurred during the diploma which on one occasion was reported by 5 other students during the exam.

I know for a fact that one of such instances was handled by a specific lecturer in the poly, but it seems like it either didn't make it onto their official transcript or they didn't disclose it to UCAS.

On one hand, I feel like reporting this to the uni is "snitching”. On the other hand, it is one of the most competitive schools in the world. By getting in through a "cleaned up" record, they are literally taking a spot away from an honest, hardworking student who actually deserves to be there lol

I’m considering to send a email to UCAS and the school and just leave the contact of the lecturer who I KNOW handled his case. Then regardless if action is taken or not atleast I know smth was done.

but has anyone dealt with something like this before? How did you handle it?
