Hi everyone,

I’m a 38-year-old with around 5 years of experience as a contract recruiter in a multinational company (MNC). My educational background is a B.A. in Arts through correspondence, which took me 7 years to complete instead of the usual 3.

I left my job last August and have been learning on my own since then. I’m now seriously considering switching my career into SAP SuccessFactors, specifically Recruiting (RCM) and Onboarding (ONB).

Before I invest in any paid training course, I wanted to get honest opinions from people in the SAP community:

Based on my age (38) and background (non-technical + delayed graduation), do I still have a realistic future in SAP SuccessFactors?

Is my recruitment experience relevant and helpful for SAP SF RCM + ONB?

How difficult will it be for someone like me to break into this field?

Would you recommend I go ahead and learn SAP SuccessFactors, or should I consider other options?

Any advice, realistic insights, or similar success stories would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
