Wrong diagnosis?
I was diagnosed with chronic spontaneous urticaria about 8 months ago. However, I’m not sure if that is actually the correct diagnosis, since the lesions usually don’t itch, appear out of nowhere, and disappear multiple times throughout the day. They also get worse when I’m anxious, tachycardic, or experiencing stronger emotions. But sometimes they appear completely randomly without any apparent trigger.
They mainly occur on my face, neck, chest, upper back, and arms.
In case it’s relevant, I have ankylosing spondylitis, which is autoimmune, POTS, and I have also experienced anaphylaxis out of nowhere, without any apparent triggers.
Currently, I take loratadine 10 mg four times a day, montelukast 10 mg, and hydroxyzine 25 mg.
