Why the concept of feeling is so important and why you have to keep going in the first 4 weeks no matter what.

As you may have read in other posts there will be a period of time when you will be feeling really shitty, agressive and maybe also depressive.

For me this happens usually around day 21. You wanna quit because you feel all this negative energy and its hard to release it, not even the gym is helping, youre feeling exhausted and energetic at the same time.

At this time you may not even care about women or other cravings but the energetic pressure is still there and it doesnt leave no matter what you do. If you are at this point right now, Ill explain why you must keep going with SR and why the concept of feeling is so important.

What happens during the first weeks is, that your testosterone is rising and the pressure to release starts to increase. This activates your brain a lot and you focus on the outside and other people. This is when you start to lose connection with yourself but at the same time the testosterone increases your emotions, reactions and the mood youre in. This happens also when your mental health is good, in that case you start to feel like youre the king. In a bad case you wanna disappear in the ground.

Youre literally a puppet of your automatic thoughts and dependant of whats happening outside of you. If you have bad mental health the symptoms will skyrocket. People will be sensing your bad vibes and anger and you might end up in a bad situation when they react and are not aware of their own thaughts.

This is, when things are getting interesting and your biggest chance to work on your shadow opens. In some cases you will have to search for deeper issues of the past and solve them (read the posts about shadow work for that) but in many cases you can integrate the negative energy and turn it into (self loving) awareness.

How do we do that? We learn to feel as deeply as possible and keep that state of feeling throughout the day. Essentially as men (logic beings), we turn our biggest weakness into our strength. Is it easy to learn this? Hell no. Is it worth it? Hell yes! Here is how I did it during the hard time:

  1. Best is to start in the morning. You get up earlier than usual, meditate through breath until you relax a little bit and let every thaught come up you have. Instead of trying to accept the thaughts logically or try to interupt the thinking through being in the now, you let that feeling thats connected to the thaught flow through you and go in as deep as possible. This will be intense, but the more you go in, the quicker and effective the process will unfold. Remember, the goal is not to dissolve the feeling, the goal is to feel as much as possible of it. Nothing else matters. The dissolving and transmutation are the cherry on the cake.
  2. You can also listen to music that makes you feel something and then go deep into that feeling.
  3. During the day, I avoid eye contact, partly look down when I can or close my eyes in public transport. Also I use noise cancelling headphones with a little bit of white noise. Through this, I reduce outside stimuli that might lead to automatic negative thaughts and can focus on what Im feeling. Yes I might appear like a shy, tired or depressed person to other people but through this you protect yourself and others. Also this is only for a few days. Once its over, these people will feel a totally different energy from you.

Why this is so effective: While you feel deeply, you are essentially not only more connected to your body but are also aware of sudden emotional reactions before they happen. For example, when your boss says, "You have to do XYZ", you can stop a negative reaction that will escalate the situation before it happens because you know, "Im not feeling good today and its not fair to project that state and energy onto my boss as the reaction is way more based on my mental state than his communication". Essentially you are preventing damage before it happens.

Why do you have to keep going?

After a day (with practice), maybe a couple days or a week the light at the end of the tunnel returns and it will shine brighter than before. You will not only be in really good mood, have positive thaughts and enjoy the other benefits of SR but youre all backing it up and stabilizing it with a deep awareness and emotional depth.

Think about the reasons, why a man craves Sex. Because women make him feel deeply, which is hard for him to reach alone. He releases his male energy, "dips" into her female energy and thus balances the male and female energy in himself.

Once you feel deeply, sexual urges and automatic thaughts have less power over you and your whole aura changes. Youre more balanced and centered. Youre making yourself whole without a woman, who would take your energy in return. You will feel, what you really want or need without your brain asserting dominance. Your intuition increases. You will know which people are good for you and which are not. In times of flatline or a mental low you will be able to prevent damage and return to the light much quicker. You will be able to do something most men on this planet cant do or even understand. And your perception of life will be so much deeper. The movie Matrix describes it best: "And I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes".

You can be a masculine man. Or you transmute the negatives, pick the best from both sides and combine it with the advantages of SR to return to the energy you always were and are supposed to be. In life or after life. Your choice.
