Gen Chem 2 & Physics I at the same time over the summer (8 week courses)?
Both are 8 week courses concurrently, Two professors have told me it's a bad idea. I want to do this in order to not delay my med school applications by another cycle (1 full year).
Currently slaying Gen Chem 1 with a high A, with studying for it about 8-10hr/week. I think I have some really good study habits for chem now. The summer class will be with the same professor I have now (who is amazing).
HOWEVER The professor for Physics I (non calculus) is kinda poorly rated, and some students have said he is quite unintelligible. But another guy said his class is "doable".... 🤔 No, there are no other options in terms of different professors available there, or at any other nearby colleges for the summer. Ready to go into it with the expectation that I will have to teach myself everything.
I do work part time but decide my own schedule and pick up shifts only when I want. My history with physics, math, and chem, is very solid. But I could still see getting burnt out all because I don't want to wait another year to apply...
Anybody done this? LMK!!
