How to use food pantry rice?
I have sooo many bags of this stuff, "long grain" and "short grain", and it doesn't matter what I do, it always turns out the same and mushy. The best I can get it is with the rice cooker but it's still basically a single mass once I stir it once before serving.
So, what are good recipes to make with rice with the expectation that it's going to do that and to treat it as a feature? I want to use it up so I can justify getting basmati again!
