Hi! I am 39f and have suffered from anxiety my whole life. It’s gotten to the point recently where functioning is not going well. I’m barely holding things together. I’ve never tried medication for anxiety, but I set up an appointment with a psychiatrist next week. I’m wondering, from those of you who have suffered from lifelong or even bouts of anxiety that you’ve healed from, what does it feel like not to have severe anxiety all the time? I have anxiety all day every day over just about everything. I also have agoraphobia (certain triggers, not complete inability to leave my home) and PTSD. Can you describe what it feels like to be “normal”?
