Hi all,
Me and my soon to be wife will travel to Bali and Lombok for our honeymoon in the first 2 weeks of September. We are both adventures and really looking for the most unique experiences, but are also thinking about being a bit more luxuries than we have been on previous holidays.
Our current itinerary looks like this:
30/08: Landing Denpasar (12:00), transfer to Sanur and chill out
31/08: Day excursion to nusa Penida to dive at manta point (we are licensed and experienced).
1/09: transfer to Amed with stops at Tukad cepung waterfal and Tirta Gangga
2/09: Dive at liberty Wreck + hike Amed hills
3/09: Transfer to Sidemen with stops at Lempuyang temple and Sidemen valley
4/09: walk through Sidemen rise fields and visit Besakih temple
5/09: Transfer toPadang Bai and take the boat to Lombok (senaru)
6+7/09: Rinjani trek
8/09: Surfing at Belanak beach+Bukit merese hike
9/09: transfer back to bali Uluwatu
10/09: explore Uluwatu
11/09: transfer back to Denpasar and fly back home
I have read often on this subreddit that plannings are to thigh because of Bali traffic. Does this seem like a reasonable planning? Also are there any tips for stops along the way or things to experience/avoid on our route?
