Internships class of 2029 for summer 2027
Hi everyone,
Fall semester, I'll be a college sophomore going into junior year (class of 2029) so I am trying to understand internship timelines better. I saw someone on LinkedIn who seemed to land a Blackstone internship for the summer before junior year, but on Blackstone’s careers page, many roles seem targeted toward third- and fourth-year students.
Is it actually possible for sophomores to intern at Blackstone the summer before junior year? Are there specific programs, divisions, or timelines I should be looking at?
I’m also interested in product management long term, so I’d appreciate advice on PM internship recruiting timelines too. When should I start applying, what websites should I monitor, and what reminders should I set? Are there specific companies, programs, newsletters, Reddit threads, or job boards that are especially helpful?
Any advice from people who have recruited for Blackstone, BlackRock, consulting internships, or PM internships would be really appreciated.
