1 Day in Banaras – What should I explore?

Hey everyone!

I’ll reach Varanasi on 22nd morning and leave for Lucknow on 23rd morning. I’ll have the full day/evening of 22nd and some time on 23rd morning.

Already planning for Kashi Vishwanath mandir, ghats and a morning boat ride since my hostel is near the ghats.

Need suggestions for:

Best places to visit apart from ghats/temple

Details and timings of boat rides

Must-try food spots/street food in Banaras

Would love some local recommendations!

So me and my friend are planning to go to Chandigarh for the IPL match and then stay there on Thursday for WFH. After that, we’re planning a Fri–Sun trek/trip and return to Delhi on Monday morning.

The issue is that she’ll be telling her parents that she’s going with office people, but we don’t really have a proper group to show when her parents come to drop her at the station 😅

We were thinking maybe:

joining an organized trek group from Delhi/Chandigarh

tagging along with some travel company trip

or somehow planning it in a way that it naturally looks like a group trip

But most organized treks are Delhi-to-Delhi, while we specifically want:

Delhi → Chandigarh (IPL + WFH) → Trek from Chandigarh → Delhi back.

Any suggestions on:

Good trek/group-trip options from Chandigarh for Fri–Sun

Ways people usually manage this situation without making it too complicated

Any group who is going chandigarh on thr given dates

Would really appreciate practical suggestions 😭

Hey folks,

Wes are planning a trip to Lucknow for an IPL match at Ekana Stadium and we’re looking for some suggestions.

Can anyone recommend safe and girl-friendly hotels near Gomti Nagar? Preferably places that are clean and in a good locality.(Preferable if it has a pool) Budget is flexible depending on the experience.

Since the match will likely end around 12 AM, we also wanted to know what we can do after that. Are there:

Any late-night cafes or food spots open post-midnight?

Clubs or lounges that are active till late?

Or any places to just chill/drive around at night?

Would really appreciate suggestions from locals or anyone who has been there recently. Thanks in advance! 🙌

Hey everyone,

Quick question—can Indian Chartered Accountants get remote roles with companies established outside India? I’m trying to understand few things:

  1. Are such opportunities actually available?

  2. What kind of roles are open for India-based candidates?

  3. Do certifications like CPA/ACCA make a big difference?

  4. Where do people usually apply for these roles?

Not promoting anything—just exploring if this path is realistic. Would love to hear your thoughts or experiences.

Thanks!

Hey everyone! I’m looking for people around Sector 45, Gurgaon who are up for playing badminton regularly.

I’d say I’m at a beginner–intermediate level — not a total newbie, but definitely looking to improve while having a good time. Ideally, I’d love to play daily or at least a few times a week.

If you’re nearby and interested in some casual yet consistent games (singles/doubles), hit me up! Whether you’re playing for fitness, fun, or a bit of competitive spirit — I’m in 🙌
