I have a Chihuahua and I think she is in pain. She has some kind of rash or irritation on her bottom. I’m on disability and recovering for surgery. I can’t afford to take her to an emergency vet this weekend. I have some left over medicine for my other dog who is a Great Pyrenees. I have methocarbonal, trazadone, and gabapentin. Two are gel caps and one is a pill. I have an accurate scale I use for weighing out different salts for beer brewing. Could I weigh out some granules or smash one of the pills and weigh out a dose for her? I think she could use some relief. I don’t even know if any of the drugs I have are useful for this.

I was in the hospital for open heart surgery from the 6th until today. I had complications and was in the icu for almost a week. I listened to the podcast during that time and it really lifted my spirits. Thank you, Bill.
