I am deciding between San José State University and Santa Clara University and would really appreciate input from current students or alumni of both these schools.
I know these are very different schools, with pretty different campus vibes, cost and overall experience, so I’d love to hear your perspectives.
I’m really interested in physics and aerospace. SJSU seems to have a pretty good curriculum for aerospace, but their labs don't look very up to date. SCU labs looked well kept but they do not offer a BS in aerospace only a minor. Some other factors that will help me decide:
1)Internship and job opportunities (especially in aerospace or related fields).
2)Research, clubs, and hands-on project opportunities.
3)Are professors supportive and helpful in guiding you if you approach them?
4)Any pros/cons you didn’t expect before attending?
If you choose between these two (or considered both), what made you decide?
Thanks in advance.
