Looking for a good VPN for my MacBook. I noticed a lot of the Mac App Store VPN apps seem more limited compared to the versions downloaded directly from the provider’s website because of Apple’s sandbox restrictions. Right now I’m checking out NordVPN, ExpressVPN, and ProtonVPN. I mostly want it for safer public WiFi use, some streaming, and overall privacy. Stable speeds are important too since I’m on video calls pretty often. For people using VPNs on macOS, which client has been the most reliable for you? Any problems with the kill switch feature on Mac? Also wondering if there’s really a big difference between the App Store apps and the direct download versions.
