I got diagnosed at 20, after a long miserably sick childhood, and have literally never received follow up care. I got diagnosed in my college town and then went home for winter break but I didn’t have a family doctor there, so just never got any long term care information other than be gluten free. I’m 26 now and recently moved and would like to take better care of myself and recently learned I’m supposed to be getting yearly blood test? Where do yall go for this? Family doctor? Allergist? What should I even ask for?

I live in rural Midwest, is this why even the doctors have no clue?
