I recently started working the front desk at Planet Fitness with the intentions of becoming a trainer in October when I am certified. However, I did not realize there is almost literally nothing for me to do (there are usually 3-5 people staffed so most of the cleaning has already been done by the time I show up). On top of that, the current trainer they have only works 3 days a week (during the day so I will probably never meet him) which concerns me. I’m not sure if that’s his preference or if he doesn’t have many clients.

Does anyone have any experience with Planet Fitness or other big box gyms and would like to share their thoughts? My other options are Crunch or Anytime Fitness.
