I am looking into setting up a beginner NAS setup for ditching streaming services, and ripping and preserving home video and owned copies of entertainment to combat VHS rot and the degradation of physical media over time. I’m well aware that ripping is a separate process for a seperate setup, but thought to include it as ideally I would like to setup a Plex/Jellyfin that would allow me to use said files. My question is what NAS and how much storage should I start with?

I recently just got an RGH’d Jasper Xbox360 and last night went to install aurora and went through dash launch to change the default path for dash to Aurora. Somewhere along the way I changed the launch.ini file which I followed a guide for the whole process on YouTube. Somehow I bricked my nand and the console won’t boot now. Is there anyway to figure out exactly what caused it? I have no soldering skills and bought it pre-modded from a seller on eBay. They’re working with me on this but need to know what happened so they can reflash the nand.

I have an RGH’d Jasper that I recently purchased. I also got a network adapter to go along with it, when trying to connect to the internet it gives me a DNS error, which I’ve read is from .ini protocols blocking MS servers. How do I connect safely so that I can download covers and updates via Aurora? Is a wired connection my only option?

I bought it off a seller pre-modded on eBay (Cheapest way to get the shell that I wanted for vanity). Anyways, the 360 didn't come with any homebrew applications or dashboards installed (XeX menu, dash launch, aurora, etc...). I've got a 500gb hard drive that I plan to swap into the caddy to give the system more memory, as its a 256mb Jasper model with low space. There's only about 10mb left on the system memory. My question is if I reset/delete data on system memory/factory reset, will I lose the possibility to install anything? Will I lose the glitch (I know it's a hard mod)? Any advice would be super welcome!
