If you find this very like infuriating or a topic of debate plese just scroll by I just wanted to bring up something that’s been on my mind recently as a christian. I will never force you to listen to me and you don’t have to! I do pray all of you get your dream university’s tho!
God has a plan for you. If he sees that going to that top university is going to be the best decision for you, you will. If he believes that the best course for your life (as long as you keep working hard) is to be rejected and go to a school that you DIDNT want to go to, then there’s a reason.
Crazy take but: Maybe that school was going to drop in the rankings and god actually took you to the one that would overtake it (unlikely but possible). Maybe the university you don’t want will help you meet the next Jeff Bezos or the person who cures cancer. They too may have been rejected and ended up in the same spot as you.
Point is: When you worry about your uni acceptances, “i don’t think i can survive if I don’t get into mac” or “this determines my future”. Remember that you are doubting what god has in plan for you, and god’s plan is always the best for us.
