Unfortunately, my daughter has Tenncare. There are no good providers in my area that accept this. I can’t add her to my insurance until November.
I have a 4 year old with extreme behavioral issues. The basics are ADHD (actually diagnosed). Other things I’ve seen is defiance. She does not listen to “authority” no matter what. Will tell them no, hit them, walk away or ignore them. She seems to enjoy harming animals (squeezing them, hitting them). She hits and pushes kids at her babysitter. She knows something is wrong, we tell her no, she goes and does it anyways 5 minutes later.
The harming animals and people is my biggest concern. She needs help and the provider in my area thinks it’s normal. It’s not. We’ve tried therapy, routines, everything in the book. If someone could give me a recommendation on who to see, I’d be so grateful. I’m terrified to send her to kindergarten with how she is.
