I bought a $500 Apple Gift Card from CardDelivery, only to discover that the digital code they sent had already been redeemed. When I raised the issue, they refused to resolve it, insisting repeatedly that "the code that was delivered was a valid and unused code." That is plainly false — Apple itself confirmed the code had already been used when I tried to redeem it.
Their so-called "customer service" appears to be automated, sending generic and irrelevant replies such as: "Please note if you have given the card(s) to someone you met online for a goods or service payment, we are not responsible if they scammed you." This has nothing to do with my complaint. They then told me to contact Apple's "gift card's online support" — a transparent attempt to shift responsibility despite being the seller.
The bottom line: CardDelivery charged me $544.99, delivered a worthless code, and now hides behind scripted replies instead of standing behind what they sold. That is not customer service — it is a warning sign.
