I cleared HPV and CIN2 in six months

I'm 35. Six months ago, I had CIN2 and was advised to seriously consider LLETZ. The gynaecologist said that she was generally 50/50 with people my age on whether watchful waiting or treatment was better, with around 40-50% of cases clearing naturally within two years. Ultimately, she advised I go straight to LLETZ because she was worried it could be worse on parts of my cervix they weren't able to see, and to get it out of the way before I wanted to try for a baby, which I mentioned I would like to do sooner than in two years.

I decided to give it six months because my immune system was really bad at the time - I kept getting virus after virus. I had been through a period of intense stress, and felt if I could address that, I stood a chance of clearing it.

Six months later - and actually six still very stressful and strange months, involving a break up and egg freezing - I have no abnormal cells and my smear just came back as HPV negative. I can't possibly know what worked - there is some science behind most of these things, but it's mostly limited - and if I hadn't cleared it I would have gone to LLETZ. But, in case it's helpful to anyone else, here's everything I did:

Took AHCCsupplements every day

Took Wellex papillex supplements every day

Took other supplements - less related to the HPV and more for general health (probiotics, vit d, coq10, magnesium)

Used papilocare suppositories almost every day, excluding when I had my period

Broke up with and thus stopped having sex with my partner (a couple of months in). Didn't have sex loads in general (but a bit)

Got the first dose of the HPV vaccine

Stopped using tampons

Drank a lot less, with a long period of not drinking at all

Tried to exercise more but didn't always do a great job

Tried to prioritise good quality sleep

Mostly ate well - but I've always been pretty healthy in terms of eating lots of veg etc
