Hello,
I'm a US citizen who is studying abroad currently, but soon I'll be returning to the US for a few months for summer to help my family. In that time, my mom retired (I was on her health insurance) and now I am without insurance. If I were to get health insurance through my old provider, it would be $500 a month, which is not preferable.
I know a lot of international student insurances refuse to cover your country of origin. So, I am a bit stumped. Does anyone here have any advice?
Thank you!
