I am a young professional in the management operations field. I started this job right out of university and in my experience I feel that I have been put on a shelf since I joined. Most fellow managers that were supposed to show me the ropes promptly ignored or expressed major attitude when attempting to half answer my questions. I am the only female in my department and also the only manager that has not been assigned a team

I am concerned about the lack of opportunities to develop myself professionally and the uncomfortable working conditions. This company has great benefits and good pay, so it makes me hesitant to leave. However, a few months ago I had serious heart condition that really put things into perspective for me. People I have talked to have told me to stick it out for a few years, but after my experience I really don’t wanna waste my time anywhere for too long.

Honestly my heart is not within this type of work at all. I consider myself creative but also logical and data driven. Though I also like being hands on. At the moment I feel stagnant and directionless. What field should I look into? How does my experience compare to anyone else’s?
