3 years ago a local Golf Coarse started a wildfire by leaving a burn site from winter unmonitored. The spring was dry and it sparked up causing a massive wild fire through the area. The local county hired and investigator and a report was released finding that unmonitored burn piles the cause. My property was EXTENSIVELY damaged from this fire, most notably about 100+ acres of prime woodland was destroyed.
3 years on all of the trees have died and begun to fall and create a mess so big it is beyond my ability to handle. These trees were species that also had commercial value as well.
Due to the fact the Golf course owners were found at fault, would there be any legal ground for me to sue to cover the cost of cleaning up this massive hazard/mess. It is so bad I can no longer use this land for grazing cattle/recreation.
