Always a good idea to diversify outside India
Invested 2500 USD during market fall in March end, in simple QQQ (NASDAQ ETF). Got healthy returns (400 USD+) in just over a month. I understand this is not a sustainable growth rate long term, but a good start in US markets nevertheless. Earlier I had been investing in the Mirae Asset NYSE FANG+ ETF in India, since 2021. That gave healthy returns too, but the premiums over I-NAV were not sitting right with me. So, I divested those holdings and directly got the US ETF.
