What if govt appeal or get stay

So a decision is pending in clinic vs rubio case. If decision granted in favor of plentif. What is the process of visa issuance, will the govt quickly inform embassies to resume visa issuance.

What if govt request stay from a fedral court. Until they get stay, will embassy issue visa.

If the govt get stay, how then immigrants will get visa. Do we need to fight again and file cases again.

The pause affecting 75 countries became effective on and after 21 January 2026. Today is 30 April 2026. It has been 3 complete months and 9 days, and there have been no significant updates on the policy or on the court cases addressing this pause. This situation is extremely time-consuming and frustrating.

Many important opportunities are being lost day by day. For example, I am currently eligible to obtain another passport (the country is in top 5 passports in the world), but I am very uncertain whether I should continue waiting for U.S. immigration or move forward with that option. Even if continue waiting for US, upon aproval of visa once pause lifted (god knows when) there is no guarantee that after living in the U.S. for several years, I will ultimately receive citizenship, as there is so much uncertainty we have been seeing daily.

The situation feels deeply confusing and discouraging. It feels like life is being drained while valuable opportunities slip away, and expressing these concerns often feels pointless. Some might suggest that I should proceed with obtaining citizenship in the country where I currently live, but the complication is that this country does not allow dual citizenship with the United States. That means even if I obtain this passport now, I may eventually have to give it up later if I pursue U.S. citizenship—and there is no clear timeline for when that would happen. I am sure most of you guys may have similar opportunities. How do you feel and if you are in my situation what you will do. Note: I am under AP from past 16 months; so not a patienceless person.
