I was watching an episode of a common Mexican comedy show, and I understand most of the typical language constructions and slang.
However I ran into this sentence “Estaba pensando que, no sé, habría usted de poner un negocio. Imaginese un restaurante!”
I would really appreciate a breakdown of what “habría” means specifically here (ChatGPT confused me even more), and how exactly it has that meaning relating to its more literal meaning of “there would be” or “would have” (for example, “habría puesto un negocio si tuviera dinero” or “Pensé que habría más gente en la multitud”) Thank you.
