We are over a month now after going live on the new exam. How's everyone feeling about it? I was waiting until the change to really go after it. My work will pay for encor and enarsi so I'm about dive back in, thanks for reading, cheers.

I am 4 months into a new job at a sub agency of DOT. My particular office used to sit 18 people, and now there's 6 plus me. There were so many empty desks for me to choose to make my own. Every empty desk came with a story of the last person that sat there, and what happened. Many were career folk and took the forced retirement. Some were on probation when trump took over, and they too, were forced out.

I can only explain the feeling as like a mass shooting happened here, and the ones left weren't lucky to be there still, because they had to bear the weight of witnessing everything happen. Also not to mention the workload imbalance. .. It has been very surreal for me to enter government work excited, and then see the fallout in person, versus what I witnessed through my phone screen. I didn't vote for trump, and I didn't want to vote for Kamala though I did.

The last two and a half years in America is a "heads I win, tails you lose" situation. I weep every day for who I thought my country was.
