Trying to recall a specific scene from Ken Burns’ civil war documentary
I am trying to recall a specific vignette or story told in Ken Burns documentary on the civil war. I vaguely remember one of the interviewees, maybe Shelby Foote, telling the story of Jackson or another commander being informed a young man’s passing during a battle, to which the commander responds very stoically, saying something along the lines of “very honorable, very honorable”. Does anyone recall this moment or am I misremembering?
