After rewatching The Re-Run & The Disaster along with reading/watching (On YouTube) Homestuck specifically in general & thinking about Game Over, I can see this working in a way. I can see this working in a way. The role of villains that they are both given in their series with one wanting it & the other never wanting to be the villain, literally breaking the series/medium they're in, aware of their fictional world they live in, fuck with the protagonist lives who are the heroes & everyone they love (Gumball/John) causing so much damage to the universe the heroes needed a complete redo to fix the mess they cause. The OP powers/weapons they get becoming unstoppable forces (Rob with the remote & Caliborn's Forces of Inevitability). The contrast of Rob never wanting to be a villain & Caliborn being pure evil ever since he was hatched.

The banter is just so hilarious here. It literally writes itself. Rob's trying so hard villain demeanor & Caliborn's ego & all natural evilness. Rob hearing of the threat Caliborn is & take him out having a chance at becoming the hero instead of Gumball.

Rob gets absolutely shitstomped & back if Caliborn gets any Lord English powers sadly. I just had this idea in my head a few hours ago. I can see Gumball & John watching going like "Dude, WTF are they doing? Aren't they supposed to be fighting us or something?" but just being whatever about it & leaving them to fight amongst themselves, not really caring as they both just go on about their days. This just sounds fun for me
