Hello guys, EDIT : for context, we are considering replacing wedding rings with Watches.. I am posting in this thread again as a lot of people were very helpful last time. Me and my wife to be are considering 2 couple watches now. We have been looking at Rolex lady date, OP and datejust. What would you guys recommend? Getting new watches or searching for something pre-owned. And generally is it possible to engrave Rolex?

Any other couple recommendations? We are willing to dish out around 15K.

Basically i am getting married soon and my to be wife wants to get me a nice watch. I am not a big watch guy but always wanted to buy a nice expensive watch..

Would you recommend some options in that range? And should i go for a new watch or better take something pre-owned? I found some pre-owned store in Munich.

Also what brands to look for where the value just wont depreciate in sometime.

I want a watch that i can keep for the next 20 years and maybe give it to my son one day if i ever have one.
