Anything to keep in mind before creating a Kickstarter?

I am working on an idle/ambient game that stays at the bottom of your screen. The idea is to have a little slice of a fantasy world that changes over time, which you can watch or interact with as a small distraction while you are working on something.

I have done a lot of one part of the game, which is the forest biome (sounds, art, creature behaviors, animation, programming, ect). However, I don't think I will be able to finish this before college begins, and once it does, the pace of development will slow drastically, especially because of work + school. My idea is to start a Kickstarter, and if it goes well, I could cut work out and have time to work on the game.

Is there anyone who has experience with Kickstarter who has any tips, like :

How complete should the game be before launching?

Is a polished vertical slice/demo usually expected?

Did you make any mistakes that you learned from?

Does this kind of small ambient/idle desktop game sound like something that could work on Kickstarter, or would I be better off waiting until I have more finished?

What do you think about this game I'm working on??

So I started working on a game and created an idle pixel art game that occupies 1/4 of the bottom of your screen, so you can work on your things while having the game open.

There is a grassy path with trees forming a small backdrop above it. There are animals that come in from the sides of your screens and walk around.

For now, I have rabbits that walk around and go idle, but if your mouse gets too close to them, they run away and jump to dodge your mouse. I also have a bird that flies in from outside of your screen and flies to the other side, or flies down to the ground and stays idle before flying away. If your mouse gets too close to him, he flies off the screen.

I created a capture thing where, if you click on the creatures, they fall unconscious, and if you click their bodies, they fly into a bag you have that you can drag around and leave anywhere on your screen.

Also, a day-and-night cycle, because why not?

That's all I have for now. I like the vibe, but I’m not sure what direction to take it yet. I was thinking of making a creature capture/terrarium-like game where the biome grows over time, and as it gets older, more creatures show up. Can you capture these creatures and have them as little pets? Or maybe gain decoration? Im a little confused on where to take this, is this idea interesting? What would make you want to keep this open on your screen while working or studying?

Oh I thought the link would post the video but i guess not. That link is of a 10 sec video of it

Goblin Reclaimers models OPR

So Im new to opr and we are trying to play it on tts first so we can get more used to the rules
I was able to find models for my friends but my army which is goblin reclaimers is the only one missing in the steam workshop. Where do people get their models to use in table top simulator?

The Velvet Market Keeper

I feel like the wording is wrong
Basically, people can buy things from him, and you get the same thing they got for free.
I was thinking of only getting treasure tokens every time people used the ability or the life they paid and make him a demon. It might fit the theme better too.
Anyways this would be an interesting commander.

I used to be interested in getting contracted when I was living in Brazil because of the difference between the dollar and the Real. But is it worth it to try and get a contracted novel while in the US, or should I just go get a part-time job?

For context, I think I'm a pretty decent writer and should at least do OK. Another thing is that I'm in college and have scholarships, so I'm not tight on money for the next few months, so I would have time to write a decent amount.
