A bit of context in driving from Florida to Michigan towing a 3k ish pound food truck. Out of nowhere I got the overheating warning on the dash. I stoped checked coolant and it was indeed low. Went to get some coolant at the nearby Walmart and top it off. Then drove for not even a minute and started to hear some odd noise from the engine. Went to check the radiator and when I pulled the cap off it was broken, dismantle into the components. Took it all out. Topped the radiator off and the reserve and moved it to a safe place to park for the night. My question is do I most likely just need to replace the cap? If so what would be my next steps. Any advice is helpful. I’m hoping I don’t need tow the the truck to a shop for this fix
