Hi all,

The new house I am moving into has space for either a dishwasher or washing machine in the kitchen. with no alternative location to place a washing machine, we will have to do without the dishwasher until we remodel.

To make space for both we will first remove the built-in shelves and remove the bit of the wall now facing the hallway. From thereon I see two options:

1. add an additional high kitchen element under which we can place the washing machine

2. build a hallway facing closet where we can place the washing machine. This takes the washing machine out of view

What would be the best solution here? Any other ideas?
