When I had my 2nd 12V battery replaced in the last 6 months on my 2024 Ioniq 6 LTD (ICCU replaced 6 months ago), the service manager suggested keeping my lights on full (not auto) all the time to solve the problem.

According to him, the lights signal to the main battery to recharge the 12V. I'm not certain of his explanation, but thought I'd give it a try. I use the car for shorter trips, especially because it's become unreliable. Evidently the 12V never gets the signal to charge on shorter trips? I'm dubious.

Does this idea seem plausible to people who understand electronics or just have opinions?
