I'm asking because I want to make an original film for a class I'm taking in the fall, I'm a film student, and I want it to be somewhat centered around the myth. I want to use Hadestown as inspiration, but I also want to see if there is maybe a book or something that is remotely close to the actual myth.
The film is still in the idea stage, but it's gonna be more centered around Hermes and Hades, and the walk out of the underworld is basically what sets the plot into motion.
